With all of white sand and blue water, which is very different from the sand in Daytona Beach, you could think this is the primary thing to see and do at Anna Maria Island. However, the island has quite a few attractions besides the beach. Rod and Reel Pier
The Rod and Reel Pier is a historic fishing pier located at the far end of the island. The pier has unobstructed views of the waters surrounding Anna Maria Island. A frequently visited pier for local fishing and seeing the beach sunset. At the Pier you can rent fishing equipment if you are into fishing. If not, you can just enjoy the views.
The Sandbar

Pine Avenue

Minnie’s Beach Café is on the water in Bradenton Beach. Features all day dining: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A very popular restaurant to visit near Anna Maria Island.
